They’re entering an exciting phase of expansion and, as part of this growth, are looking for a Business Administrator to join their head office in Christchurch. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a varied and rewarding role and play a key part in a growing New Zealand company.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you’ll keep day-to-day operations running smoothly. This hands-on position involves managing office administration and documentation, overseeing accounts, and coordinating orders and logistics. You’ll also be the main point of contact for customers, ensuring exceptional service and clear communication, while managing supplier relationships and supporting operational activities across the business.
They’re seeking someone with strong organisational skills and a well-rounded administrative background. Experience with Xero or similar accounting software would be an advantage. Professional presentation and excellent communication abilities are essential, as you’ll often be the first point of contact for customers and suppliers.
You’ll be proactive and accountable, ready to take ownership and find solutions. In this small, collaborative team, your energy and adaptability will shine as you step into varied responsibilities. Your skill in managing customer relationships, coordinating suppliers, and keeping operations running smoothly will be invaluable.
