Dairy Holdings – Ashburton, Canterbury

Dairy Holdings is one of New Zealand’s largest dairy farming businesses, with farms across the South Island and a workforce spread across multiple locations. As Fonterra’s largest milk supplier and shareholder, it plays a significant role in New Zealand’s agricultural sector.

This newly shaped role will lead how Dairy Holdings communicates with its people and the wider industry. With a strong internal communications focus, you’ll also support external communications, brand, content, social media, events and stakeholder engagement.

You’ll own the communications calendar, work with teams across farms and the wider business, and turn updates into engaging content across written, social, video, photography and podcast-style formats.

Externally, you’ll bring Dairy Holdings’ stories to life across digital and social channels, support media and stakeholder communications, contribute to recruitment marketing and employer branding, and help deliver events including the Annual Conference, Open Day and other industry activities.

You’ll bring strong marketing and communications experience, ideally across both internal and external communications or PR. You’ll be an adaptable writer, confident relationship builder and organised project manager. Agriculture experience is useful, but curiosity, sound judgement and the ability to draw out authentic stories matter most.
